Harrison Fence Builds Aluminum fence for a pool at Shepherd's Vineyard in Apex, NC
Right before we rang in the New Year, Harrison Fence finished replacing a fence around the pool at Shepherd's Vineyard (a community in Apex, NC). This was an interesting project because the regulations provided by the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources require that the pool remains enclosed at all times. That meant the old fence could only be disassembled as fast as the new fence was being built. You can see some pictures in our aluminum fence gallery.

Interesting Fences
Recently I was searching through pictures of fences we installed in the past. I came across this fence that we stained blue!
Although it's not a fence you'd see everyday, the customer LOVED it! It made me wonder what other interesting fences I could find. With the help of google images I found a ton of fun, funky, and interesting fences. I thought I'd share a few!
I found several variations of this fence.
I can't help but think about how cute this would be at a
school or daycare!
I instantly began daydreaming of my trip to
Kauai as soon as I saw this fence!
What a great 'green' way to reuse old surfboards!
This is a fun fence from New Zealand!
In 2000, four women were celebrating at a hotel across
the street from this fence. They decided that the new millenium should be liberating for all women. The women removed their bras & hung them on the fence. Over the past 10 years hundreds of bras have been added to this fun fence!
What a fun way to dress up a plain chain link fence!
This is more of a fence accessory than an actual fence.
But, I found myself giggling at this picture and felt like I must share it!
This is a fun gadget sold by Pet Peek (http://www.petpeek.info/).
These are just a few of the fun pictures I found in my search. I would love to see fun and interesting fence pictures you run across!

Trellis & Fence in Holly Springs, NC
Recently we were contacted by a past customer. They purchased a new home in Holly Springs and needed a new fence! The homeowner decided to add a special detail for character, and a trellis worked perfectly! She sent along the following note and pictures of the completed trellis.
"We LOVE our fence and trellis (I especially love the trellis). Sometimes I go outside just to look at it. Thanks again for the great service." ~Lisa M
If you think a Trellis (or new fence) would add some charm to your yard call Harrison Fence!

Your new fence & HOA regulations
One question we get from almost every customer is, "What do I do about my HOA?" For many people the thought of dealing with their HOA for any project is daunting to say the least. At Harrison Fence we try to make this process as simple and pain free as possible.
It always important to comply with all HOA guidelines. If the fence is installed without their approval they can (and will) make you remove the fence. Because each HOA has different guildelines we are always here to help ensure that your project will be compliant.
Most local HOA's require the same 3 things...a completed application, a survey, and a picture of what the completed project will look like. We are more than happy to assist you with all three elements. We will complete the HOA application, draw the fence lines on your survey, and provide you with a picture to submit with your application. All you will need to do is get your neighbors to sign off and submit the application. If you, or your HOA, has any questions along the way we are always here to assist!
Shauna,
Yes! Everything is finished and we are pleased with our new fence. The crew that came out on Friday worked hard all day long in the heat to finish up. They did a fantastic job. Once again, thank you for working with us in such a professional manner to address our concerns and for helping us comply with our HOA standards.
